The election for Atlanta’s next Mayor is November 4th, 2025. There are also options to vote early (see below for more details).
Who is running for Mayor in Atlanta this election?

There are four candidates for Mayor of Atlanta, listed below. To learn more about each mayoral candidate, go to their website by clicking on their name.

How do I vote for Atlanta’s next Mayor?
Election Day is Tuesday, November 4th, 2025. You can find your polling place, as well as
Early voting for the 2025 election in Georgia begins October 14th, and runs until October 31st. There are TONS of early voting locations. Atlanta’s own WABE rounded up the full list, which you can check out here to find the closest spot to you.
What do I need to bring with me to the polls?

Georgia’s law requires photo ID while voting, so make sure you have some form of photo ID with you.
The following identifications are accepted for voting, according to the Secretary of State’s office:
- A Georgia driver’s license, even if expired
- Student ID from a Georgia public college or university
- Valid employee photo ID from any branch, department, agency, or entity of the U.S. Government, Georgia, or any county, municipality, board, authority or other entity of this state
- Valid U.S. passport ID
- Valid U.S. military photo ID containing a photograph of the voter
- Valid tribal photo ID containing a photograph of the voter
- Any valid state or federal government-issued photo ID, including a free ID card issued by your county registrar’s office or the Georgia Department of Driver Services.
