The 2026 FIFA World Cup is just around the corner, and Atlanta is hosting some amazing matches right here at Mercedes-Benz stadium. While we won’t know until tomorrow which matches we’ll host this summer, we DO know what the 12 groups are, as of a couple minutes ago! Wait… what’s going on?

Today, December 5th, the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final Draw occurred at the John F. Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. to determine the pots for the final grouping of the games.
42 of the 48 national teams have already qualified, with the remaining 6 set to play in March.
So how do the 48 teams break down into groups?

Each of the twelve groups will be separated into groups of four. This is the breakdown:
- Group A: Mexico, South Africa, Korea Republic, UEFA Playoff D Winner
- Group B: Canada, UEFA Playoff A Winner, Qatar, Switzerland
- Group C: Brazil, Morocco, Haiti, Scotland
- Group D: USA, Paraguay, Australia, UEFA Playoff C Winner
- Group E: Germany, Curaçao, Côte D’Ivoire, Ecuador
- Group F: Netherlands, Japan, UEFA Playoff B Winner, Tunisia
- Group G: Belgium, Egypt, Iran, New Zealand
- Group H: Spain, Cabo Verde, Saudi Arabia, Uruguay
- Group I: France, Senegal, FIFA 2 Winner, Norway
- Group J: Argentina, Algeria, Austria, Jordan
- Group K: Portugal, FIFA 1 Winner, Uzbekistan, Colombia
- Group L: England, Croatia, Ghana, Panama
Which matches will Atlanta host at Mercedes-Benz?
