In Atlanta, even a wing order can become a relationship dispute when one person eats all the flats and leaves the other with the drums. Therapy Out Loud Atlanta is a live comedy show that turns those everyday arguments into mock couples’ therapy—and lets the audience decide who’s in the wrong. Actor couples bring the drama, from suspicious receipts to competing definitions of sharing, and you get the final say.

What is Therapy Out Loud?
Therapy Out Loud is a fast-paced comedy show staged as a courtroom-style arbitration session. Couples played by actors bring fictional, prescreened relationship disputes before a chaotic “Therapist” with zero qualifications, a firm philosophy on love and some very questionable methods. Once both sides have made their case, the audience becomes the jury and votes by phone. The verdict lands live on screen, and nothing is decided in advance, so every ruling belongs to the room that made it.

The laughs come from scale: a forgotten favor gets the full cross-examination, with fictional texts, receipts, photos and voice notes shown on a big screen as evidence. Relationship researcher John Gottman is widely cited for finding that most couple conflict comes from recurring, unresolved issues rather than one-off blowups—and here, those small, familiar habits are the whole case.
The host brings improv and stand-up credentials, while a Bailiff introduces each case, presents the exhibits and keeps the clock honest. If you’ve ever watched The People’s Court or Judge Judy, you already know the drill: two sides, the evidence, a ruling. Here, the cases are written, the couples are actors and the jury is the whole room. You’ll scan a QR code as you settle in, then watch two major cases, with quick-fire anonymous disputes, audience confessions and rapid polls in between.
