Atlanta has a new reason to venture into its industrial past, and this time, it involves creepers, precious gems and a glowing handheld orb. Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue is making its Southeast debut at Pullman Yards on November 20, transforming part of the historic complex into a life-sized version of the best-selling video game.
The limited-time experience takes players on a mission to rescue villagers under attack from zombies. Armed with an interactive Orb of Interaction, you’ll chop down trees, collect resources, mine for gems and face familiar Minecraft creatures, including skeletons, spiders and creepers.

The adventure spans eight interactive rooms inspired by the game’s iconic biomes, with teams working together to gather ingredients and craft a life-saving potion before time runs out.
The approximately 55-minute quest also includes an escape portal challenge, where you’ll use your Minecraft knowledge to build your way to safety. Complete the adventure, and you’ll receive an exclusive, limited-edition in-game cape for Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. There’s also a Trading Post where you can browse themed merchandise and souvenirs.

Pullman Yards
The venue has a story of its own… Located on the edges of Kirkwood and Edgewood, Pullman Yards occupies approximately 26.84 acres and includes 12 historic buildings, making it one of Atlanta’s most distinctive industrial landmarks.
Originally built in 1904 as the Pratt Engineering and Machinery Company, the complex initially manufactured chemical-processing equipment and produced carbonic gas used in soda fountains. Its connection to Coca-Cola came when the company acquired technology developed and patented at the site while it was still a startup.
In 1926, the Pullman Company purchased the property and turned it into a major railroad facility, repairing and manufacturing luxury passenger railcars. The site later became a filming location for Hollywood productions, including The Hunger Games, Fast & Furious, Baby Driver and Bad Boys 3.
