Yellow and blue illuminated Atlanta over the weekend, in solidarity with Ukraine amid the humanitarian crisis thatâs raging Europe
The City of Atlanta posted pictures on their socials of Downtown Atlanta and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport over the weekend, with the buildings lit up in yellow and blue. They captioned the post, âAtlanta stands with Ukraine.â
The Google building, the King & Spalding building, and other ATL landmarks were also illuminated to show solidarity with Ukraine.
On Tuesday morning, the Ukrainian flag was projected on the top of Downtown Atlantaâs Equitable building, with the Google building continuing its solidarity throughout the week.
But the support doesnât stop there. A rally took place on Saturday, taking over Centennial Olympic Park and the Downtown Atlanta area, with the protest concluding at the CNN Center.
