Forbes credits the source of his wealth to Home Depot, which he co-founded 1978 with Bernie Marcus. Due to his origins with Home Depot, Blank is considered a ‘self-made’ billionaire.
Arthur Blank’s ATL sports teams
Arthur Blank is famously the owner of the Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta’s NFL team, and Atlanta United, Atlanta’s Major League Soccer team.
Both teams play at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, which is legally owned by the Georgia World Congress Center Authority, but day‑to‑day operations and control are handled by Arthur Blank’s AMB Group.
