It’s lights, camera, and action for the 2022 Atlanta Film Festival
Now in its fourth decade, the Atlanta Film Festival is our beloved celebration of cinema, and it’s about to return on an epic scale. As one of the largest and longest-running festivals in the country, AFF will be welcoming an audience of over 28,000 to discover hundreds of new independent, international, animated, documentary, and short films, selected from 8000+ submissions from all over the world.
The organization offers entertainment, networking, education & professional development year-round, taking pride in the films they program. They state on their website, “we’re constantly searching for fresh, innovative, and inspiring means of cinema.”
And that’s exactly what their 2022 programming is promising. As one of only two dozen Academy Award-qualifying events in the country, the Atlanta Film Festival showcases nearly 200 films annually.
This year, the dazzling festival will be taking place from April 21 until May 1st 2022. The focus will be on Masterclass Conversations and Panels with Hollywood Directors, Showrunners, Producers, Writers, Actors, Production Designers, Editors, and Cinematographers. Plus, they’ll be covering a wide range of topics, including virtual pitching, development, creating family-friendly content, diversity, marketing, digital branding, podcasting, and sales and distribution, to name just a few.
