How did SIXT come up with the data for this study?
Here’s how SIXT came up with this study of the quietest major cities on the planet:
We analyzed 51 international cities to identify the most peaceful destination. To do so, we looked at various factors, including noise and light pollution, the quality of green spaces, traffic, population density, and the percentage of Google reviews for popular attractions that included the terms “peaceful,” “tranquil,” and “calm.” Using these criteria, we created a weighted ranking to determine which destinations were the quietest. All data is accurate as of June 16, 2025.
