If you love comedy, then you’re in luck! Helium Comedy Club is hosting a hilarious new competition: Atlanta’s Funniest Person, and you can help vote on who makes it to the next round! Keep scrolling for all the details on this amazing comedy crown!
What can audiences expect at the ‘Atlanta’s Funniest Person’ showdown?
Basically… a really funny show. Armed with only their own original material, 150 aspiring comics will throw their hats in the ring to compete for the title of ‘Atlanta’s Funniest Person’ (and take home that amazing $3,000 prize)!
The prelims begin on July 1st, and go alllll summer long! The contest provides up-and-coming local comedians with the opportunity to perform their material before live audiences, guest judges, and members of the local media. Multiple rounds of open-mic style performances will lead to a final showdown later this summer.
All of the prelim rounds will be decided by audience vote, so get on out and laugh your head off… and then vote for your fav comedians of the night!

There is a two-item per person minimum in the Showroom, which can be fulfilled with any food or drink items from the menu.
