About Bar Pilar

With moody, dim lighting and dark, soulful decor, Bar Pilar is Pat Pascarella’s newest Atlanta venue, adjacent to his Italian spot, Alici. Bar Pilar is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy yourself after a day in the hustle and bustle of the city! The hidden speakeasy is named after Ernest Hemingway’s famous fishing boat and the boat from ‘The Old Man and the Sea.’
The menu includes a delicious, hand-crafted cocktail menu, created by Daniel Schmitz, and yummy bites to go with it.

The cocktails menu includes mouthwatering concoctions like:
- the Six Toed Cat – a clarified Hemingway daiquiri
- a signature martini with shochu and citrus olive oil
- a savory Fitzgerald with charred green onion vodka, gin, dry vermouth, and pickled onion
- a classic old-fashioned
- a Manhattan
- a negroni
And so much more in their full bar.
For food, think oysters, mussels and fritters to snack on. Or, if you’re looking for a heartier meal to accompany your drinks, go for their crispy chicken sandwich or delicious burger! Uh, YUM!
Okay, I’ve got to check this out! Gimme the details!
