The good kinda cheesy!
Get ready for fresh and hand-stretched mozzarella, incredible pasta, and more, at this brand new concept coming to West Midtown, Atlanta.
Chef Pat Pascarella, who owns popular Italian restaurants White Bull and Grana, will open his new restaurant concept, Bastone! by the end of the year. The cheesy concept will be replacing Midtown’s now-closed Bocado.
Inspired by his grandad, the restaurant’s name comes from the Neapolitan term bastone, which means the ace of clubs in an Italian deck of playing cards. This is made pretty clear in a teaser video for the new restaurant, published recently on Instagram.

“We pulled out all the stops for this one with inventive handmade pastas and an amazing wine and craft cocktail program,” the post reads. “West Midtown, we hope you’re ready!!!”
Of course we are ready, Pat! The restaurant is set to open sometime in the fall and we’ll keep you posted as dates are dropped and announced.
You’ll be able to find Bastone! at 887 Howell Mill Road NW in West Midtown.
