Out of this vision, Glide Pizza was born!
6. Fritti, Inman Park
Address: 309 North Highland Avenue Northeast, Atlanta, GA 30307
Chef Riccardo Ullio conceived of the idea for an extremely authentic Italian restaurant in Atlanta while he was… in Italy of course! He directs the creation of the restaurant’s signature pizza, which is made from imported 00 flour and sea salt. The art of his pizza is beautiful. The dough rises slowly over several days, the sauce is made from hand-milled San Marzano tomatoes, the meats are the finest from speck to salsiccia, and the fior di latte mozzarella cheese is locally produced. All of this care makes Fritti Atlanta’s first – and finest – pizza artigianale.
