Atlanta’s sushi scene is about to get the ultimate shake up. Brush Sushi is opening its doors this year in Atlanta mid 2023. If you are a fan of all things sushi and Japanese dining, this is def one spot you need to add t your bingo card this year. Naturally, Brush Sushi decided to open its doors along side other comparable culinary rivals within the Buckhead Village.
Brush Sushi will feature shareable dishes grilled using Binchotan charcoal and techniques focused on seasonal and detailed preparation of aging and curing of the fish. This new concept is introduced by Executive Chef Jason Liang. The restaurant will elevate the dining experience by offering an omakase option – a curated experience featuring chef-selected courses by Chef Liang that can be enjoyed in the restaurant’s private omakase room. Fannnnccyyyy! And we love to see it.
The restaurant will cover 4,400-square-feet of space. Traditional Japanese elements will be interwoven throughout the restaurant to pay homage to its roots. Intricate carvings on large panels of hinoki, a Japanese cypress wood and other traditional accents will be some of the elements guests will experience. A 17-seat private room will also be dedicated solely for omakase tastings.
The opening of Brush Sushi in Buckhead is actually the relocation of the original, which first opened in Decatur. As their popularity and demand have grown, they have decided to branch off into the Buckhead Village area to share their fabulous take on Japanese cuisine. Look for Brush Sushi this summer!
