Cat lovers, assemble. As we have an awesome lunch and coffee spot for you in Lawrenceville. The Catfe is an enchanting cat cafe in Atlanta that allows you to enjoy some tempting treats in a purr-fect setting, especially if you’re obsessed with our adorable feline companions!
The community-focused cafe serves up bites and dishes, from or using local vendors. They’re menu includes a variety of things to eat from pies to sandwiches, with many people going for the cats and returning for the food!
Members of the feline family include Biscuit, Sugar, and our favorite, Cinnamon, who’s a mother to two of the cats at the cafe. The eclectic and adorable mix of cats combined with both a homely atmosphere and homely grub, The Catfe is one of our favorite stops whenever we’re in Lawrenceville.
As for the menu, there’s a heavy focus on ‘Catuterie’ (we promise no more cat puns), as well as other snacks and bites to eat. We highly recommend their Pimiento Cheese Sandwich with added bacon, and if you order a fairtrade coffee on the side, you have yourself an awesome brunch in a cat-lover’s paradise!
All the beers on their extensive drinks list are local, and there’s a great selection of wines on offer too!
The owners write on their website, “Come enjoy the first of its kind experience with family, friends, or that special someone. Pair wine with a meat and cheese board, a beer to go with your side, or enjoy a slice of one of our made from scratch pies, Brittany’s recipes.
They continue, “The Catfe is an extension of us, enjoy the atmosphere, the company of one another and help rebuild the community.”
