It’s been 25 years since the Centennial Olympic Park opened in Downtown Atlanta
The Centennial Olympic Park in Downtown Atlanta is one of the best parks in the city. A great way to cool-off in the summer, with plenty of shade to rest with a good book, and of course, the iconic Fountain of Rings!
This year, the park is celebrating its 25th Anniversary, making it 25 years since the 1996 Summer Olympics here in Atlanta, and boy do we feel old.
Today, the Park is a catalyst for Atlanta’s downtown revitalization efforts and anchors a thriving entertainment and hospitality district spurring billions of dollars of economic development.
