What is the ‘tatted like a Chipotle bag trend’?
Okay first of all… what are we talking about here? If you’re not glued to social media (couldn’t be us, sorry), then you might not have seen it–but there’s an adorable trend where people show off their tattoos: sleeves, patchwork, lots of designs, saying they’re “tatted like a Chipotle bag.” This is, of course, because Chipotle to-go bags famously are covered in little drawings!

So what’s the deal for Friday the 13th?
You may or may not know, but Friday the 13th is somewhat of holiday in the tattoo community, where parlors tend to offer cheap “flash” tattoos, or tattoos that can be chosen from a specific sheet of options. These tattoos are usually either much cheaper than a typical tattoo or sometimes even completely free.
Chipotle is getting in on the fun by combining the two trends this Friday, June 13th, 2025 with a special “flash” one hour BOGO for fans who can prove they are tatted up like a Chipotle bag.
What does this mean?
Basically, come tatted up, either with temporary tattoos OR your real tattoos! Chipotle will be giving out their first-ever temporary flash tattoo sheets, while supplies last!
The offer is available in-person at U.S. restaurants from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm local time on Friday, June 13.
