Almost everyone’s guilty pleasure or weakness is chocolate. Dahlonega has dedicated a day to one of the world’s fav desserts. This annual chocolate crawl lasts a whole week, so don’t worry if you can’t make it one day. Chocoholics will have from March 6 – 12 to enjoy treats from multiple dessert shops.
Participating shops and restaurants will be giving out FREE samples and specials. Guests can look forward to enjoying homemade fudge, cookies, candies, pies, ice cream, specialty drinks, and much more. Get ready to make room for some of the most delicious sweets you’ve ever tasted.
The vendors participating this year include Paul Thomas Chocolates, The Dahlonega Fudge Factory, Connie’s Ice Cream, and My Vintage Gypsy Teas. There is also a new feature that is being implemented this year, that will enter participating visitors into a drawing for fantastic prizes.
To be entered into the drawing, guests will need to grab what’s called a passport. Guests can pick up their passport at the Visitors Center. Once they’ve visited businesses, chocolate crawl participants will receive one entry into the drawing. Extra entries will be given for any additional purchases made.
