“Each day of Stone Mountain Christmas, you can enjoy park attractions including Summit Skyride, Scenic Railroad, and more,” the park writes on their website. “Then, immerse yourself in holiday magic with evenings full of festive music, millions of dazzling lights, spectacular shows and visits from some of your favorite holiday characters!”
Christmas at Stone Mountain will feature the return of many of Atlanta’s favorite holiday hits: whether its the Snow Angel’s Christmas Parade or Santa’s Big Flight – where the big man himself takes a spin in his sleight during the Enchanted Tree Lighting Ceremony. Santa will also hold office hours for naughty and nice children to sway him over in time for the special day.
Furthermore, the festivities will include the mountain’s Magical Frosted Forest of mesmerizing Christmas Lights as well as scenic railroad rides, a Jurassic Christmas, and The Polar Express outdoor movie experience, carolers, an award-winning magician, a performance of A Christmas Carol, and more!
Also, no day at Stone Mountain is complete without a lasershow, and they have a Christmas Lasershow for the festive period, which features “your favorite holiday songs choreographed to laser lights, making all merry & bright.”
Adults tickets (12 years and older) for Christmas at Stone Mountain Park start at $39.95. Tickets for children between the ages of 3 and 11 cost $34.95, while children 2 years or younger are permitted in for free. Experiences such as the Summit Skyride can be added with additional charge. There’s even a VIP Christmas Attraction Pass.
