What is Clothing and Connection?
Clothing & Connection is a huge community clothing swap… but it’s also so much more. It’s a space designed to bring people together, reduce textile waste, support local artists, and make community accessible to everyone.
For a $5 admission, Clothing swap attendees can bring clothing they no longer wear and take home as many new-to-them items as they’d like.
But the events don’t end with some new fashionable clothing! Every Clothing and Connection event features:
- local artists
- makers
- small businesses
- live music/DJs
- social spaces
- interactive activities
… and more, to create a vibrant community marketplace.
Libby Seger, the founder of Clothing and Connection says,
Since launching, Clothing & Connection has grown into one of Atlanta’s most beloved grassroots community events, drawing hundreds of attendees from diverse backgrounds. The event happens at a few different locations including My Sister’s Room and Monday Night Brewing with each location offering the event in different ways!
Our mission is simple: create an affordable, sustainable, and inclusive space where people can refresh their wardrobes, support local creatives, and connect with their community.
