Finca To Filter, is a queer led women owned coffee shop located at West End Brewery. To support the LGBTQ+ community this month they decided to have a pride themed menu. Nestled between Box Car Restaurant and Best End Brewery, this boutique coffee shop offers drink items from the traditional to the specialities like The U-haul (iced sparkling americano with orange + basil) and Tropical Fog (iced white tea, orange, basil, splash of oat milk + maraschino cherry garnish) 😋.
And…what is coffee without a little pastry?! Whether you are craving something light and fluffy like a croissant or a traditional breakfast bread like bagels or muffins, Finca to Filter has you covered. They even offer different empanadas made locally by a 2 brother run company called Casa Cardoza. The steak and potato empanadas and ham & cheese empanadas are some fan favorites!
If you aren’t a coffee person, other ways to support this small business owner is through the different merchandise that they sell. T-shirts, coffee mugs, and coffee makers are a few of the items that they sell on their website or if you visit them on site they have some t-shirts available there as well.
Finca to Filter doesn’t just support the LGBTQ+ community during the month of June, but also hosts events such as Drag Bingo on certain Saturdays. Tickets are sold through their website and the calendar provided gives you the date of the next show. This family friendly experience is a must attend. Everyone makes sure that guests are comfortable and thoroughly accommodated. Even if you decide to come by yourself, you are guaranteed to leave with a new friend or two. Don’t miss out on supporting this fabulous business during the month of Pride. The last day to order off their specialized pride menu will be this Friday July 1, 2022! So stop by and enjoy a cup of ☕️ or 2 :-).
