As the days get shorter and the night comes earlier, they are far more amazing things to enjoy in the evenings! One activity to be on the lookout for is the dazzling light festival in Fairburn, GA. Due to the pandemic last year it was postponed, but it’s back and brighter than ever this year.
Life of Lights is a one night magical experience. This show is put on to celebrate the City of Fairburn and the 50th anniversary of the Southside Theater Guild. Guests will get to observe illuminated art work in the alleyways by Elise Williams and sounds by Santiago Páramo.
The artist this year is Elise Williams. She creates most of her art installations with coffee filters. Her unique technique helps to create these gorgeous light formations. The shapes she constructs are drawn from her inspiration of textures, movements, and intricate details. She also likes to creat her shapes based on her interest in microscopic organisms and ocean life.
This best thing about this event is that it’s FREE!
Location: Southside Theatre Guild 20 W Campbellton St, Fairburn, GA 30213
