For more than 30 years, EATS has been an Atlanta staple. ATLiens were rightly devastated to hear that the iconic eatery was closing up last year… and now, we’ve got some great news for you. EATS is SO back, y’all! Keep scrolling to learn all about EATS new location… and same everything else!
Wait… EATS is reopening?

Yes! You read that right. EATS is officially reopened at a brand new location in the West End. Wild Heaven brewery opened their doors to EATS for its next chapter.
Wild Heaven Co-President, Nick Purdy, said in a statement,
EATS has always been about consistency, value, and food people come back for again and again. When the opportunity came to keep that alive, we took it seriously. The same kitchen team led by Levi Nichols is here, much of the original equipment is still in use, and we’ve even brought over furniture and memorabilia from the Ponce location. The goal was simple: when people walk in, it should feel like EATS.
Okay, but is it really going to be the same?

That’s the goal. The West End EATS kitchen is led by longtime EATS manager Levi Nichols, working alongside much of the same culinary team that helped build the restaurant’s reputation over the years. The dishes are being prepared using the same equipment that served the Ponce location for decades, preserving the flavors and rhythm that defined the original.
Even the sign is the same! The restaurant’s iconic neon sign, originally made more than three decades ago by Atlanta’s own Neon Company, has been fully restored and now hangs prominently inside the brewery.
And the menu is back, too, BABY!

A defining feature of EATS has always been its commitment to offering great food at an approachable price point, and that philosophy continues in the West End location.
The opening menu remains largely unchanged, with no menu item increasing by more than $1 and several longtime favorites staying exactly the same.
The famous EATS Special—half a jerk chicken served with black beans, rice, and cornbread—remains a centerpiece of the menu and is still priced at just $11.
Guests will also find many of the comfort food staples that made the restaurant a neighborhood institution, including rotating daily specials like:
- Pesto Tortellini
- Spaghetti with Meatballs
- Ziti Alfredo with Chicken
- BBQ Chicken
- vegan-friendly sides
- Mac & Cheese
Okay, SLAY! I’m going! Gimme the details.
