Marvel at these majestic creatures on World Environment Day! These gorgeous sculptures at ‘Art of the Brick Immersive’ are made out of millions of LEGO® pieces! Snag your tickets now!
Contemporary artist Nathan Sawaya has stunned Atlanta with his mesmerizing LEGO® sculptures at the brand new ‘Art of the Brick Immersive’ experience. One room in particular at the exhibition shines the light on beloved animals on the brink of becoming extinct.
PERNICIEM means extinction in Latin, so this part of the exhibit focuses on these precious yet endangered species. LEGO® artist Nathan Sawaya teamed up with photographer Dean West to showcase these beautiful creatures focusing on four habitats: oceans, forests, grasslands, and the Arctic.
The duo has featured these works in 14 museums and galleries worldwide since 2012, showing how important it is for people to make changes that can impact the environment.
The “PERNiCiEM: The Endangered Species Connection” room showcases 13 larger-than-life animals at this not-to-be-missed exhibition.
See displays that take you inside these creatures’ habitats, including the snow-capped polar bears, a trio of elephants, a Malayan tiger on the prowl, humpback whales, lowland gorillas, beautiful flamingos, and so much more!
Atlanta not only has these important animal sculptures for you to marvel at, but for the first time, you can see these massive art pieces and more with a digital element that includes video mapping, 360-degree projections, and moving installations—taking you into their particular habitats like you’ve never experienced before.
Not only will you get an up-close look at these intriguing creatures, but you will also learn about their environments with a cinematic video, giving you an inside look at their way of life in hopes of preventing the extinction of these beautiful animals. These sculptures are so magnificent it’s hard to believe they are created from millions of LEGO® bricks!
The PERNiCiEM exhibit is one of the most magical parts of the experience, in our opinion, so take a seat and be astonished by these gorgeous animals! We don’t know about you, but we could spend hours looking at them!
You can see these marvelous sculptures and so much more at The ‘Art of the Brick Immersive’ experience in Atlanta for a limited time.
The entire exhibit features over 100 dynamic works of art so be sure to snag your tickets so you don’t miss out!
