Fernbank Museum has become a winter wonderland!
Fernbank is offering a variety of special programming over the holidays. They’re guaranteeing to help make even the grinchiest Grinch get in the spirit of the season. From an enchanting garden of giant snow globes to an exhibition celebrating Christmas, Fernbank Museum is spreading joy this holiday season.
With outdoor and indoor experiences, you can have a whole lot of festive fun, whatever the weather. Celebrate all things Christmas and beyond, with their holiday-inspired exhibit Winter Wonderland, featuring beautifully decorated trees and cultural displays.
Another exciting exhibition for the holidays is their Antarctic Dinosaur exhibition. This dino-mite adventure will give you goosebumps, especially if you check out the companion movie, Dinosaurs of Antarctica, for an additional charge.
There’s also some excellent news for those who fear the ice rink. Skip the skates and enjoy the wintertime tradition, wearing only socks to slide around like you’re skating across the “ice.”
This hilarious outdoor experience is juxtaposed with the enchanting snow globe displays scattered across their beloved forest. Walk among six giant (some up to 7 feet tall) decorated snow globes highlighting the best of the holidays, including gingerbread houses, NYE, and more!
You’ll even be able to party at Fernbank Museum on December 10, with their After Dark: Holiday Party special. Bring your best holiday cheer for a night of festive fun featuring after-hours access to the holiday exhibit Winter Wonderland, holiday-themed activities, live music and more. Tickets for the party cost $16.95 for members and $21.95 for non-members.
The festive offerings at Fernbank Museum will be taking place until January 9, 2022. Besides the After Dark party and the Dino Movie, the majority of holiday happenings are included with General Admission. Tickets for adults are $20, children are $18, and seniors are also $18.
