Atlanta’s first full-service dog park and bar, Fetch, will open more locations in Atlanta next year with their Buckhead Village District and Alpharetta outposts set to open this winter. [Featured image: @fetchpark]
Paws up, people. Atlanta bipeds and quadrupeds rejoice as Fetch Dog Park & Ice House plans to open three more locations in the city next year. Fetch in Alpharetta and Buckhead Village District the park plans to open as early as this winter.
“We hope to have our Buckhead & Alpharetta parks open early in 2021 with our West Midtown location opening in Spring/Summer,” the park wrote on Facebook. “We have spent the last year and a half listening to our park guests and working out an expansion plan for Atlanta based around your feedback!”
According to a recent press release, the parks in Buckhead and Alpharetta will largely resemble their outpost in Old Fourth Ward. As such, the new parks will feature a mud-less green turf space, wifi, dog bath areas, cooling stations, outdoor TVs, “Bark Rangers” attendants, and a camper stocked with a full-service bar spinning out beer, cocktails, and wine.
Fetch in Old Fourth Ward is temporarily limiting capacity to 150 people within the park. In accordance with safety guidelines, the park is also administering temperature checks for visitors, denying entry to those who register with a fever. Patrons are asked to properly distance themselves while at the park and pick up after their dogs as the staff is also limited. Bathrooms are currently closed at the park but there is a porta potty on the premises in case of emergencies.
The dog park regularly holds festive events and encourages dog owners and enthusiasts alike to join in on the activities. For those with dogs, the pups must be at least 4 months old, while those 8 months or older be spayed, and neutered. Dogs must also be flea-and-tick free and possess a non-aggressive demeanor. Lastly, dogs must also be vaccinated for rabies, DHLPP, and Bordetella.
Membership plans to Fetch vary from daily ($10), monthly recurring ($30), contract-less month-to-month ($40), and yearly ($275).
