Atlanta will be under a freeze warning tonight.
According to the forecast by the National Weather Service, the local office in Peachtree City states that a freeze warning is in effect in Atlanta from 7pm this evening (Monday, November 10th), until Tuesday morning around 10 am.
How cold is it going to get?
It’s going to be pretty cold in the ATL tonight. The NWS predicts that temperatures could get as low as 15 degrees. The temperatures will definitely drop below freezing, however (32 degrees) for a prolonged period of time, thus issuing the freeze warning for thee area.
What can I do to stay safe?

There are lots of things you can do to stay safe in freezing temperatures. The first, and most important thing is to have a warm place to sleep tonight. If you do not have a home to sleep in, the City of Atlanta has opened two warming centers to help residents stay safe.

The warming centers will open: Monday, November 10, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. – Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at 9:00 a.m.

Transportation will be provided nightly at 8:00 p.m. from the Gateway Center with return transportation provided by Fulton County from the Gateway Center upon deactivation.
If you do have a warm place to sleep, then to protect your home, make sure to drip faucets so your pipes don’t freeze and burst, and bring in any plants that might die in the cold.
Is it going to snow?

It will probably not snow in the city, but some flurries are possible in the North Georgia mountains.

Actually, no. The weather is expected to creep back up throughout the week, with a predicted high of 70 on Friday.
