For the 13th year, the Atlanta Botanical Garden is about to completely transform into a winter wonderland, full of sparkling lights and brand new features.
The Atlanta Botanical Garden’s beloved and enchanting light spectacle, Garden Lights, Holiday Nights, returns on November 18th, with a special premiere for Garden Members on November 16th! The spectacular event will run all the way through the holiday season until January 14, 2024.
What can guests expect?
The garden will boast crowd-favorites, like Nature’s Wonders, which is billed as the “world’s largest choreographed curtain of light and sound.” The spectacular lighting display combines beautiful motion with enchanting music, for an incredible show.
And you can’t miss the iconic Tunnel of Light, aka the best place to take selfies in the park, or the Orchestral Orbs, which is the coolest place to dance in time to the choreographed glowing orbs.
What’s new in the garden?
Along with the fan favorites, Atlanta is in for a new treat this year, too! For this year’s exhibit, guests can expect new twists and turns, including a brand new exhibition in the Anne Cox Chambers Garden by French artist Cédric LeBorgne, as well as a 144-foot-long wintery white skynet by Patrick Shearn of Poetic Kinetics, whose work was featured during 2021’s SUPERnatural exhibition.
Guests will also be excited to see the return of the White Rabbit to the Skyline Garden pond, which teases a sneak peak into the Garden’s Alice’s Wonderland mosaiculture exhibition, set to return to the Garden with brand new installations in 2024.
As one of the many light show offerings in and around A-Town, The Atlanta Botanical Garden has certainly solidified itself as one of the city’s favorite holiday traditions. Earning several accolades for their magical light extravaganza, don’t miss this year’s Garden Lights, Holiday Nights at the Atlanta Botanical Garden.
