What is the Georgia Apple Festival?
The Georgia Apple Festival is a celebration of all things fall! Nestled in the cozy, picturesque small town of Ellijay, Georgia, the Georgia Apple Festival is the perfect place for a family day trip to enjoy the fall weather.
The festival lasts two weekends in October, and is a massive celebration of local talent: with over 300 local artists and vendors, and tons of live musicians. It’s also a haven of delicious fair food, and of course, tons and tons of crisp, fresh, local apples!
What can you eat at the Georgia Apple Festival?
The Georgia Apple Festival is a culinary paradise–they’ve truly got a little someone for everyone. Of course, you can go classic southern small town and grab yummy boiled peanuts, or get a little international and try tasty Greek Gyros, flavorful street tacos, and classic Asian fusion dishes!
And of course… the apples! Treat yourself to freshly fried apple pies, apple tacos, apple cider donuts, and the festival’s famous apple dumpling, a perfect pair for a crisp fall day!

October 12th – 13th, from 9am – 6pm on Saturday and 9am – 5pm on Sunday
October 19th – 20th, from 9am – 6pm on Saturday and 9am – 5pm on Sunday
Admission: $10 per person (children 12 and under are free)
