Looking to take a trip in 2025? Well, you might not have to travel very far to be impressed with the sights, adventures, and beauty of your destination!
According to a new report from Chase, “Chase Travel’s editors scoured the globe, took stock of trends and uncovered the most exciting debuts to help you decide where to go next…” and some of the places they landed on might surprise you! The state of Georgia has officially made the list of the top 25 trips to take in 2025!
Why is Georgia a top travel destination for 2025?
On a list with Antwerp, Belgium, the Athens Riviera, Coastal Vietnam, and so much more, it might seem surprising that the state of Georgia made the list, but there’s tons of great reasons!
Chase says,
Georgia may be one of the original states in the union, but it’s constantly evolving. Take, for example, the Ocmulgee Mounds National Historical Park, a nature preserve with eight miles of hiking trails and more than 12,000 years of Native American heritage and history. Community leaders and the Muscogee (Creek) Nation are pushing for the land to be redesignated as the country’s next national park and preserve.
And importantly, there are talks of Ocmulgee becoming the first official National Park in the state of Georgia, and the first National Park in the country to be co-managed by a removed native tribe. So don’t miss out! You can check it out while it’s still free to enter.
