Wait… what’s going on?

Yes! You read that right. The application fee is completely free for many schools in the state of Georgia during the entire month of November. In other words… if your child is a high school senior, now is the time to apply to colleges.
Here’s what’s happening:
For the 6th year in a row, the Georgia Student Finance Commission partnered with the University System of Georgia, the Technical College System of Georgia, and private colleges in the state to completely waive the application fee for school from November 1st – 30th.
What colleges are included on the list?

This November, high school seniors can apply to 60+ Georgia schools, including:
- Agnes Scott College
- Georgia Tech
- Georgia State University
- Kennesaw State
- Gwinnett Technical College
- Berry College
And so many more! You can find the full list of colleges with waived application fees & get the fee waiving code on Georgia Student Finance Commission’s website, here.
If you choose to apply to public colleges from the list through GEORGIA MATCH in November, the waived application fee should already be applied.
