One of Atlanta’s favorite Margarita bars just made a very sad announcement on social media. After nearly a decade as an ATL staple, Guac y Margys is going to officially close up shop on its two remaining locations at the end of the month.
Wait… what’s going on?

Yes, sadly you read that right. Guac y Margys is about to close up shop in Atlanta for good.
In an Instagram post, the Guac y Margys’ team said,
How do we say this, Atlanta? Goodbye! 👋 It’s been a great long run but it’s time to move on. Our last day of operations for both locations is this Sunday June 28. Rising costs and competition have always been a challenge for restaurants, especially in Atlanta, and we are no exception. If you are a small business owner please email us if you have openings for our staff to interview. Thank you Atlanta and let’s have a heck of a weekend sending off Guac Y Margys! We will have special cocktails and a bar tender driven menu! Need to get creative with left over inventory, ya know? Please stop by and say bye to a place where we all have fond (and fuzzy) memories!
When will Guac y Margys close?

Citing financial issues, Guac y Margys’ last day will be Sunday, June 28th.
But they’re not going out without a bang! Head to one of the Guac y Margys locations for a final hurrah with margs, good times, and memories.
