Do you believe in fairies, Atlanta?
Did you know that Halcyon has a fairy village? It’s a magical escape where you can see fairies and gnomes come out to play! The enchanting village is locate at Halcyon, the mixed-use development in southern Forsyth County. They’re also about to celebrate its creation with an awesome birthday bash!
The Fairy Village was created by local Dan O’Hara, and now consists of up to 20 different houses and structures, built out of rocks, sticks and other knickknacks that the fairies can get ahold of.
Fairy Village Day will be on August 21, and will be a family-fun celebration of the village’s one-year birthday. Activities will include touring the fairy garden, making a fairy house, getting faces painted, grooming animals, and more.
There will be music playing throughout the grounds, from Bach to Rock. Truly making it a party for everyone, especially the little ones. They’ll even be able to meet Tinkerbell and Iridessa at the birthday bash!
Children will need a ticket to participate. However, adults do not need a ticket. 100% of proceeds are donated to Family Promise of Forsyth County, an incredible organization helping homeless Forsyth families find stable living arrangements.
Fairy Village Day will commence on Saturday, August 21 from 11am to 2pm. Located at Halcyon Forsyth, 6365 Halcyon Way, Alpharetta.
