Horizon of Khufu uses the latest virtual reality technology, which means you’ll be plunged into what feels like a parallel world as soon as you put on that headset. You’ll see other participants’ ‘avatars’ around you so you don’t bump into them, and a virtual guide will be with you every step of the way in case you’re lost (who wouldn’t be, in a completely new civilization?) Prepare to see birds flying around you, rays of sunlight and the sway of the Nile river, among so many other key moments that scream Ancient Egypt.

Horizon of Khufu is a result of collaboration with Egyptology professor Peter Der Manuelian and his team at Harvard. Leveraging data from their Giza Project, the experience authentically replicates Ancient Egypt.
