If you’re looking for your next ATL bevvy obsession, you’ve gotta check out Notcha Matcha, a plant-based, creative matcha pop-up! Home to the viral Hot Lemon Pepper Matcha, Notcha Matcha has some of the coolest, most delicious, (and of course totally Atlanta) matcha flavors ever. Keep scrolling for all the details!
What is Notcha Matcha?
Queneesha “Queen” Gregory created Notcha Matcha after her time working in film with studios like Marvel, Tyler Perry Studios, ABC, and more! When the pandemic and the 2023 strikes massively changed the industry, Gregory shifted her goals and created Notcha Matcha!

She says,
I first launched Notcha Matcha pop-up at the Augusta Market in April 2025 as a way to reconnect with myself and rebuild through community. Being home helped me reset; I always say I left Atlanta burnt out, but I returned fully charged. What began as a local pop-up has now grown into a community-rooted experience that I’m building in Atlanta.
So what’s on the menu at Notcha Matcha?

If you’ve been on TikTok of Instagram, you probably already know that the most viral item on the menu is their Hot Lemon Pepper Matcha! It might sound like an unexpected flavor combo, but it’s super delicious. (But you’ve gotta try it for yourself to see what you think, of course!)
But that’s not the only thing on the menu at Notcha Matcha. The entire menu is plant-based and focused on clean, intentional ingredients. Gregory sources her matcha directly from Shizuoka, Japan. She says, “It’s organic, ceremonial grade, and the foundation of every drink.”
AND! All of her delicious syrups are house-made, including:
- blueberry
- peach cobbler
- sweet potato
Gregory explains,
I love creating bold, nostalgic, and experimental flavors inspired by Southern culture and any ideas that come to mind.
Here are some of the most popular flavors on the menu:
- Banana Pudding Matcha
- Lemon Pound Cake Matcha
- Bee’s Sweet Potato Pie
- Blueberry Earth Day
- Peach Cobbler
- Lychee Hibiscus Matchade
- Peachy Arnold
- the viral Hot Lemon Pepper Matcha.
And they’ve also got a “Skinny Matcha” if you’re looking for a more classic matcha flavor, instead of a bold flavor!
Tell us a little more about this Hot Lemon Pepper Matcha…

First of all, yes, it’s real. And it’s really delicious!
Queneesha “Queen” Gregory says,
I actually created the Hot Lemon Pepper Matcha with Atlanta in mind because in Georgia, we love lemon pepper anything! So I wanted to get playful and lean into my creativity. I use a spicy lemonade base, real house-made peppercorn syrup, and a blend of other ingredients. The full recipe is a secret, so you’ll have to come try it in person at a pop-up!
We mean it when we say you’ve GOTTA try this drink!
Where can I catch Notcha Matcha?
Right now, Notcha Matcha is a pop-up event around town. You’ll be able to find Queneesha and her incredible matcha creations at different pop-up events and markets.
