The Indigo Girls are performing at Symphony Hall with The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra
Folk rock duo Indigo Girls & The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra will perform live at Atlanta Symphony Hall on December 30 & 31. Kick off your New Year’s celebrations with a concert to remember, as this unique collaboration takes over the Atlanta Symphony Hall for two nights only.
Indigo Girls are an American folk rock music duo from Atlanta, consisting of Amy Ray and Emily Saliers. The two met in elementary school and began performing together as high school students in Decatur, Georgia.
After releasing nine albums with major record labels from 1987 through 2007, they have now resumed self-producing albums with their own IG Recordings company.
Now, they’re teaming up with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra for a special New Year’s Eve treat. Tickets prices vary in price and are available on the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra’s website.
Atlanta Symphony Hall will be implementing a mandatory vaccine policy for audiences. Proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours prior to performance, as well as matching photo ID, will be required upon arrival to Atlanta Symphony Hall. As of November 1, patrons under 12 will not be required to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test.
In other NYE news, The City of Atlanta have announced that the anticipated return of the Peach drop will happen to ring in the new year. It’s returning to its original location at Underground Atlanta, with special musical guests to celebrate its homecoming!
