Big news, Atlanta! We finally know where the new Joystick Gamebar will be setting up its new home.
Earlier this month, beloved Atlanta arcade and bar, Joystick Gamebar announced they’d be closing their Edgewood location after 14 years. Now, they’ve got some good news on the horizon. They’re opening back up in East Atlanta Village. Keep scrolling to learn more.
Where exactly will this new location be?
Right now, all we know is that Joystick is headed to EAV. They’ve promised to keep ATL updated, and we can promise to do the same.
In an Instagram post, Joystick Gamebar said,
We feel lucky to be landing in the EAV… We’re the new kids in school now. Give us a few weeks to finish renovations and permits. We’ll keep you in the loop and update you soon.
Joystick’s last day on Edgewood was Sunday, July 12th, 2026.
