1. Kwanzaa 2024 at The New Black Wall Street

This free event has tons of fun things to do to celebrate Kwanzaa! With a candle lighting ceremony, activities for the kiddos, performances, an artisan market and more, there’s something for everyone!

Check out this dynamic Kwanzaa experience hosted by Kenneth Zakee! Full of dancing, drumming, music and local vendors, and a keynote speech by author, professor and historian, Dr. Daniel Black, you definitely don’t want to miss out on this experience!
4. Kwanzaa 2024 Kujichagulia
When: December 27th, 2024 from 5pm – 8pm
Where: Omenala Griot Afrocentric Museum & Event Center | 337 Dargan Place SW, Atlanta, GA 30310
This festive Kwanzaa celebration is presented by the Atlanta Pan-African Coalition, and will have all kinds of great events!
5. Joyous Kwanzaa – A Celebration of Culture
When: December 28, 2024, 7pm – 8:30pm
Where: Unitarian Universalist Metro Atlanta North |
Join the Unitarian Universalist Metro Atlanta North fellowship hall for a beautiful celebration of tradition! The evening will include a short overview of the history of Kwanzaa, its symbols, and the practices that the holiday fosters! Then there will be light hors d’oeuvres and nonalcoholic drinks for everyone to enjoy, as well as several activities to engage the kids from tots to teens.

Kwanzaa celebrates Black cultural heritage and values. The first Kwanzaa celebration was officially began in 1966, and it has been celebrated all over the world ever since!
