American rapper raised in the ATL has make a shocking announcement on X (formerly known as Twitter): she’s done making music. In an unexpected post, she called her upcoming album, ‘Big Mama,’ her ‘retirement album.’ Keep scrolling for all the details.
Why is Latto quitting music?
Some fans theorize that Latto is setting down the mic to focus on motherhood, since the 28-year-old artist is currently pregnant. Other fans say she’ll be back in the studio before too long, and don’t believe this is her final album.
Either way, Latto has yet to elaborate on her post.
Latto’s last album, ‘Sugar Honey Iced Tea,’ came out in 2024, featuring famous artists Megan Thee Stallion, Hunxho, Coco Jones, Ciara, Mariah the Scientist and Teezo Touchdown.
When does ‘Big Mama’ come out?
Latto’s upcoming album comes out on May 29th, and features 17 tracks in total. The LP includes her already-released singles, ‘Somebody,’ ‘Business & Personal’ and ‘GOMF’ featuring GloRilla.
