Grammy-winning artist Laufey just announced her “perfect day” in Atlanta, and it’s a full day of art, community, and local fun!
This global event, which gives fun Laufey guides to more than 75 cities, will take place this Sunday, August 23rd by celebrating art in all its forms: from museums to books and symphonies.
And the best part? Net proceeds from the celebration’s brand collaborations and merch go to the Laufey Foundation to support arts access initiatives.

So what’s Laufey’s perfect day in Atlanta? Well, she’s got a great list laid out for us.
The High Museum of Art
Let’s start off with the epicenter of art in the ATL. When we say ‘art in Atlanta’ the High Museum of Art is probably one of the very first things you think of… and for good reason! As the best art museum in the Southeast, the High is the perfect place to get inspired.
Laufey says,

Laufey says,
Last year, I was so honored that Fulton County Public Library was one of 5 public library system’s that launched a unique limited edition Laufey Book Club collaborative library card. This year, they’re expanding the card design and are launching 6 new card designs as part of their Map of Wonder scavenger card hunt. While their branches our closed on Sunday for AVLD, check their website to find the closest of their 34 branches to complete the quests to collect your cards starting on Monday, August 24th!
