Zoo Atlanta has assembled this epic exhibition of pop-art animal Lego displays by Sean Kenney
Sean Kenney’s Nature POP! has completely taken over Zoo Atlanta, providing the ATL with another unmissable experience for the summer season. Following last year’s Chinese Lantern Festival on the gorgeous grounds, the zoo needed a tough act to follow, and they haven’t disappointed. Particularly if you’re a fan of Lego®, or the world of pop-art!
From May 13 until August 8, more than 40 nature sculptures crafted exclusively with LEGO® pieces will be at the beloved Atlantan attraction. The eye-popping work of artist Sean Kenney invites you to reimagine the amazing complexities and interconnections of the wild world in fresh, fun, and unexpected ways.
Sean Kenney is an award-winning artist who uses LEGO pieces as a medium for contemporary sculpture, portraiture, and commercial art. He’s renowned world-wide for solidifying the artform as a legitimate practice that needs to be encouraged and supported.
Access to Sean Kenney’s Nature POP! is yours at no additional cost to your visit! The exhibition is free with general admission; free for Zoo Atlanta Members, but it’s only here for a limited time, so make sure you plan your visit! Click here to get your tickets for Zoo Atlanta.
