If you’ve been looking for a sign that you should adopt a new pet–this is it! LifeLine, the largest animal welfare organization in Georgia, has begun their yearly campaign to clear all their shelters! LifeLine wants to see all their adorable pets go to loving homes by September 10th! So they’ve waived all pet-adoption fees until that date!
Which shelters are participating in free adoption?
LifeLine Shelters will offer free pet adoptions at all of their Metro Atlanta shelters including:
- Fulton County Animal Services | 1251 Fulton Industrial Blvd NW, Atlanta
- DeKalb County Animal Services | 3280 Chamblee Dunwoody Rd, Chamblee
- LifeLine Community Animal Center | 3180 Presidential Drive, Atlanta
Lifeline says
Over the past five years, LifeLine’s campaigns have helped more than 54,000 pets find new homes. As the only open intake animal shelters in Fulton and DeKalb that accepts all animals regardless of health or behavior, we need our community’s support now more than ever before to help save lives.
See which pets are available to be adopted on Lifeline’s website here! Take home your new little (or big!) furry buddy, and help save a life while you’re at it! You’ll be so glad you did!
I want to help, but I can’t adopt an animal right now…
No worries! We know it’s not the right time for everyone to adopt a pet right now, so there is another way you can help! You can donate directly to LifeLine here! That can look like sponsoring an adoption (not during the free adoption period of course), a monthly donation of money, something of LifeLine’s wishlist like carrying cages, cleaning supplies, food and more!
Help LifeLine clear the shelters before September 10th, and give a good life to an adorable animal in need!
