With the holidays officially over, it was a sight for sore eyes to see those enchanting lights being taken down as we prepare for the coldest months of the year. However, Downtown Atlanta is brightening up winter with this awesome installation in Woodruff Park.
Entitled Light & Sound Station, the art installation is installed at the gazebo on the south end of the park, and visitors can even interact with this pretty set of dancing lights.
Using any sound you want, whether it’s a clap or a sing-song, use sounds to make the lights on the gazebo dance in an enchanting spectacle of color and light. Use your voice, stomp your feet, or clap your hands to make the lights dance and flicker to your expression of choice.
The lights will be available every night until Tuesday Feb 28, 2023, so make sure you check it our before it disappears. For more information, click here to visit Downtown Atlanta’s website.
In other dazzling news, Fernbank Museum also extended their bewildering lights display to keep ATLien’s plans looking bright throughout the winter months.
