Madonna is undisputedly the Queen of Pop, and luckily for us ATLiens, she will be bringing her all-new world tour to Atlanta in 2023 entitled, “Madonna: The Celebration Tour,”
Madonna dropped the dates in a viral video with a nostalgic throwback to her 1990 film “Truth or Dare,” uniting some of the most iconic faces in pop culture to do so, including Judd Apatow, Jack Black, Lil Wayne, Diplo, and more.
According to Variety, “the 35-city global tour will kick off in North America on July 15 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC,” before heading to A-Town on Thursday September 5 at our iconic State Farm Arena.
The tour is set to be a true “Celebration” of Madonna’s untouchable career as one of the most iconic women in music. With over forty years in the biz behind her and a reputation for putting on a memorable show, we can’t wait to see what Madonna has up her sleeve for this exciting new world tour.
Supporting her on this epic venture is Georgia native Bob The Drag Queen, who was also featured in the viral video to announce the tour. The drag performer will be the opening act for Madonna, and has solidified themselves as one of the most legendary winners of the RuPaul’s Drag Race franchise, with Georgian roots in Columbus.
Tickets will be going on sale on Friday January 20 at 10am. Members of Madonna’s Official Fan Club will have a pre-sale release beginning on January 17 at 12 p.m. For more information and tickets, click here.
