Atlanta is home to so many neighborhood markets and local grocery stores

Beyond Ponce City Market, Atlanta boasts several neighborhood market spots and local grocery stores. There’s never been a more important time to support local businesses. If you feel like you should trade in your weekly shop at Walmart for something closer to the community, then this list is for you. 

Here’s a list of some of our favorite places to get our groceries in Atlanta:

1. Star Provisions Market & Cafe

Where: Blandtown

Known for their gourmet foods, get your cheese, meat, seafood and more at Star Provisions. This shop also provides breakfast and lunch, so you can grab a bite before you get your groceries.

2. Brookhaven Farmers Market

Where: Brookhaven

There are some incredible vendors at Brookhaven’s Farmers Market. Make this place your Saturday tradition, with places to get your weekly groceries along with some tasty treats. The market is known by locals for is very quality products – everything from coffee to fresh produce.
