Sundays are now Fundays thanks to Midtown’s MODA! The Museum of Design Atlanta will now be hosting a plaza party every second Sunday until October, with a fun afternoon of activities planned every month.
From arts and crafts, to a beloved food truck setting up shop for the day. This free party is a great way to get the whole family involved in some culture, fun, and art.
Their first event of the year took place on Sunday March 12. Activities range every week but you can expect a plethora of fun to transform the plaza every Sunday.
Although the event is free to the public, however, admission to MODA’s current exhibition requires a ticket. Close to the Edge: The Birth of Hip-Hop Architecture is the unmissable exhibit currently on display.
The exhibition delves into the cultural movement that is hip-hop, delving into several denominations that branch from its roots in Black/Latinx youth cultures in the Bronx. Click here for more information on the exhibition.
So don’t miss out these fabulous offerings from Midtown Atanta’s MODA. Sunday Fundays will be taking place every second Sunday of the month until Sunday, Oct 8, 2023. The event will be taking pace from 1-5pm every month. Close to the Edge comes to an end on May 15 2023.
