What is Moonrise Theatre?
Moonrise Theatre is a new theatre company founded by three Atlanta artists: Evan & Angel Ruede-Escobedo and Jane Kelly. The three of them have worked in the performing arts scene in Atlanta for years, and wanted to breathe life into a brand-new, performer-forward company.
Moonrise Theatre’s mission statement is
to create an environment that will excite and engage people on and off stage. A space where everyone is welcome, and everyone is having fun.
Moonrise is dedicated to bringing timely, relevant theatre to the stage, all while keeping community efforts and values close to their hearts.
