Atlanta is one of the art and cultural hubs of the Southeast (and let’s face it, the whole country), so we’re lucky to be rich with tons of fun artsy things to do. If you’re bored of hitting up every new brunch spot (or if you’re looking for a post-brunch activity), we’ve got JUST the thing for you: a DIY mosaic lamp workshop, right here in the ATL! Keep scrolling for all the details on Studio Sheba.
What is Studio Sheba?

Sheba, an artist originally from Jamaica founded Studio Sheba after her travels to the Middle East and Northern Africa taught her the beautiful art of mosaic lamp-making. Sheba was working as an English teacher in Morocco when she discovered her love for the dazzling mosaic lamps–and she immediately knew she had to bring them back to the west. Thus: Studio Sheba was born!
Now, Sheba teaches classes to students in Atlanta, sharing a piece of Turkish and Moroccan culture right here in Georgia!
What can attendees expect in a mosaic lamp-making workshop at Studio Sheba?

Other than a super fun time, workshop attendees can expect to leave with a beautiful piece of art… that they’ve made with their own hands!
Experienced instructors guide you step-by-step as you build your beautiful lamp. And don’t worry about bringing anything except an open mind because all the materials are included in the class!
In the workshop, you’ll learn about design meanings, cultural significance, and so much more about this delicate and relaxing art!
Are snacks provided?
You bet! Sheba Studio has tea tastings and international deserts to enjoy as you craft.
