HGTV recently released their list of the 50 ‘most beautiful gardens you can visit in every state’ and we’re not surprised at all that Atlanta’s iconic Botanical Garden in Midtown took the cake for our state!
Here’s what HGTV has to say about the Atlanta Botanical Garden,
Urban nature reaches new heights at this 30-acre downtown refuge, where visitors can stroll among the treetops on the Storza Woods canopy walk. The garden’s Earth Goddess sculpture—a 25-foot living plant installation—has become Atlanta’s most photographed green icon.
How did HGTV come up with this list of all the most beautiful gardens in the country?

Well, beauty is a subjective thing, of course. There’s no denying that the Atlanta Botanical Garden is a super beautiful garden–but HGTV isn’t out here to fight anyone’s subjectivity on the matter!
They say,
There are countless places to see unique, well-curated and even awe-inspiring gardens — maybe even in your own backyard. So don’t fight us on our definition of ‘most beautiful’ here; we’re not out to compete. We love gardens of all shapes and sizes (and know you do too!). And we just want to be sure you don’t miss any icons that could be right under your nose — or on your travel itinerary — when time is a finite resource.
