To determine the most romantic cities in the US, we analysed a range of metrics indicating access and interest in romance. We indexed each metric, giving each city a score from 1 – 10, so they were proportionally positioned against all cities analysed, and created a final index rank by averaging the score across all metrics, giving some metrics with higher romance indicators a higher weighting.
