The Chick-fil-A Dwarf House
Founded by S. Truett Cathy in 1946, The Dwarf House is the birthplace of the Original Chick-fil-A® Chicken Sandwich. The Dwarf House, named for its modest footprint, originally only had 10 stools at the front counter and four booths for guests.
Accordindg to a press release from Chick-fil-A,
After a 2022 renovation, the restaurant still preserves pieces of its original character, including the iconic ‘Little Red Door,’ stools from the 1967 front counter, multicolored stained-glass windows, repurposed bricks, and more. Following the birthplace of The Dwarf House, the very first Chick-fil-A Restaurant was introduced in 1967.
Even though the Dwarf House has had renovations and reconstructions, it’s always existed at the same location in Hapeville.
